John Kalb founded EV Charging Pros to save clients time and money as they investigate and develop EV charging infrastructure deployment plans.
Since 2012 EVCP has assisted commercial property owners, workplaces, multifamily organizations and HOA’s explore site-specific EV charging requirements, evaluate vendor solutions, develop deployment plans and define corporate EV policies. We don’t represent any EV charging vendors, instead we work with our clients to define needs and use cases and then select the appropriate EVSE vendor.
Clients – Over the last three years we have worked with property owners and industry vendors on over 300 EV charging projects.Clients include – Shorenstein Reality, Equity Office, Boston Properties, Cornish & Carey Commercial, Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), Prometheus Real Estate, Intuit, Spear St. Capital, Barnes and Nobel, Action Properties, Nova Workforce, Presidio Trust, United Markets, Charge Point, Siemens and Schneider.
EV Working Group – John co-founded the Multifamily EV Charging Working group, an organization of senior executives from major property organizations including Avalon Bay, Prometheus, Irvine Company, Greystar, ROEM and Pacific Urban Residential. The group meets 8 times a year to receive market intelligence, share best practices and explore strategies to deploy EV charging on their properties. The group is focused on peer-to-peer interactions and is closed to industry vendors.
Industry Reports – In 2015, John co-authored the report “Electric Vehicle Charging in Apartment-Based Housing”. The report was underwritten by NOVA workforce development and leveraged the insights from members of the California Apartment Association – Tri-County Division
